Arrowhead Credit Union Privacy Notice

At Arrowhead Credit Union, we value your trust and respect your privacy. This Notice applies to our existing and former members and customers.
“Personal information” refers to most nonpublic personally identifiable financial information about you, but does not include information that is available from public sources, such as telephone directories or government records.

Collection, Use and Retention of Information About You
We collect personal information about you from the following sources:

• Information we receive from you on applications and other forms
• Information about your transactions with us, our affiliates, or others; and
• Information we receive from consumer reporting agencies and other lawful sources.

Disclosure of Information
We do not disclose personal information about you or our former members to anyone except as permitted by law. Examples of what is permitted by law include: disclosing personal information (such as name, address, account number, account balances and transaction history) to affiliated or nonaffiliated companies if it is necessary or helpful in completing a transaction; to report to consumer reporting agencies; to comply with government or court orders; to report an apparent crime; or if you give us your consent.

Marketing Disclosures
We also may disclose all of the information we collect, as described above, to companies that perform marketing services on our behalf. There is no right to opt out of those disclosures. The third parties sign confidentiality agreements with us.

We also may disclose all of the information we collect, as described above, to other companies with whom we have joint marketing agreements. For your opt-out rights, refer to the Privacy Opt-Out or ask us for a copy of the "Important Privacy Choices for Consumers". If you have previously opted out and would like to keep the same preferences, you do not need to opt out again.

Sharing Information with Our Affiliates
Our affiliates, including ACU Financial Services, Inc., Arrowhead Investment Center, LLC, Sawyer Cook & Co. Inc., and Members Business Services, LLC., provide services including financial, insurance and investment. We may share the following information with our affiliates so they can serve you more efficiently:

• Member information such as name, address or account number
• Account information such as type of loan or share accounts

You can expect our affiliates to maintain the same high privacy standards as we do. You may limit our affiliates from marketing their products or services to you based on the information that we share with them. For your opt-out rights, refer to the Privacy Opt-Out or ask us for a copy of the "Important Privacy Choices for Consumers". If you have previously opted out and would like to keep the same preferences, you do not need to opt out again.

The Security of Account Information
We restrict access to personal information about you to our employees and agents who have a need to know such information. We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with federal standards to guard your personal information.

Changes to this Notice
If we decide to change our privacy policy, we will post those changes to this privacy statement, the homepage, and other places we deem appropriate so our user are always aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we disclose it.”
If you obtain a financial product or service (other than a loan) from us jointly with another person(s) ("joint consumers"), we may provide only a single opt-out notice to you or the joint consumer. If we receive a direction to opt out by you or by the joint consumer, we will treat the opt-out direction as automatically applying to both you and all of the associated joint consumers.
