Arrowhead CU SVP Receives Minority Business Honor

San Bernardino, CA-- Maurice Calderon, Senior Vice President of Minority Development, recently received the “Ramon Alvarez Golden Eagle Minority Business Award” from the Riverside Opportunity Center (ROC). The ROC’s annual Spirit of Greatness banquet recognized nine individuals who have contributed in their professions and made a difference in their communities.
Maurice received the award in recognition of his business achievement and contributions to the Inland Empire region of Southern California. The award was presented by Ramon Alvarez who spoke glowingly of Maurice’s many contributions to promote minority business interests.

Calderon said, ”I was surprised and honored to be among such a distinguished group of honorees. When I look back over my 40-year career in the financial industry, I am just thankful and grateful for the opportunities that I have been given.”
On hand to celebrate the honor with Maurice was his wife Dorothy, Marie Alonzo, Chairman of the Arrowhead Board of Directors, her husband Alex, Henry De La O, Director on the Arrowhead Board, his wife Vangie and Elsa Montes, Vice President-Membership Services.
