Members Business Services Hosts Users Group Meeting
December 5, 2006
San Bernardino, CA—Members Business Services, a CUSO owned
by five credit union partners, recently hosted their first users group meeting.
The day-long event was attended by 40 credit union professionals from eight
different credit unions.
Larry R. Sharp, President/CEO of Arrowhead Credit Union opened the meeting
with an overview on the evolution of the business banking relationship. This was
followed by topics on remote and merchant capture and new enhancements from
Precision Computer Systems, the business banking technology provider.

The event also included breakout sessions on broker relationships, marketing
ideas, SBA training, checking account analysis, business development and branch
sales.
“The breakout sessions and the panel discussion were great for our clients to
talk about what works, sharing information so that each credit union does not
have to reinvent the wheel. Each credit union has a different level of
experience with Commercial Relationships, we are pleased to be able to bring
each of the credit union’s strengths to the table and share with the group,”
said Denise Mattice, SVP/CAO of Members Business Services. “We are looking
forward to taking the suggestions from this year’s meeting and integrating them
into next year’s agenda.”
The final speaker was Sylvia Fath, Vice President-Business Services from the
California Credit Union League who spoke about the strategic positioning of
business accounts.
Credit unions who attended the meeting included Arrowhead CU, SCE FCU, USA
Federal CU, Point Loma CU, AltaOne FCU, Coast Hills FCU, Eagle Community CU and
Meriwest CU.
