California Legislature Thanks Arrowhead Credit Union

San Bernardino, CA - Arrowhead Credit Union was recognized by the California Legislature for their efforts in aiding state employees affected by the recent budget stalemate.

Arrowhead Credit Union has a long history of providing payroll advances to state employees who are directly affected during the State’s yearly budget process. In July and August before the budget was adopted, Arrowhead Credit Union provided payroll advances and payroll loan options to any affected employee.  These employees did not receive paychecks until early September, after Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger signed the budget bill on August 24.

According to Greg Schmidt, Secretary of the Senate, “We cannot say enough to thank Arrowhead Credit Union for the peace of mind their payroll assistance program provided to our employees when we were unable to issue paychecks this summer.”
