A Little Change Can Change a Lot
Arrowhead Credit Union Partners with Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital for Fundraising Drive Online and at 28 Branches in the Inland Empire.
San Bernardino, CA ---Your spare change could make a difference in the life of a child this holiday season. Arrowhead Credit Union has joined with Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital to help raise money for over 100,000 children treated at Children’s Hospital annually. These funds will help to provide equipment such as cardiac monitors, incubators, and ventilators for the tiniest babies in their Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
Donation cans are available at all Arrowhead Credit Union branches through January 2009, and members of Arrowhead Credit Union can also make a donation through the online banking system.
“We came up with the theme “A Little Change Can Change A Lot” so that our members could get involved in the great work that happens at the hospital,” says Robert Reed, Senior Vice President at Arrowhead Credit Union. “We are so fortunate to have such an outstanding facility in the Inland Empire and we are proud to be able to contribute to its success.”
Zareh Sarrafian, LLUCH administrator adds, “Our partnerships with local companies such as Arrowhead Credit Union are vital to helping Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital continue to provide world class compassionate healthcare to the children of our community. The monies raised will go to the areas that have the greatest need such as equipment for our neonatal intensive care unit and pediatric emergency department.”

Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital (LLUCH) is the only dedicated children’s hospital in the vast geographic region of the San Bernardino, Riverside, Inyo and Mono counties. With 277 beds dedicated just for kids, one of the largest Neonatal Intensive Care Units (NICU) in the country, and more than 100,000 children that come each year, LLUCH is a major pediatric teaching facility for Loma Linda University and is part of the Loma Linda University health care system. Known worldwide as the pioneer of neonatal heart transplantation, LLUCH has performed more infant heart transplants than any other center of its kind.
