The best way to get your payment status is by using the IRS status tool.

Payment Status

You may receive your payment via check, direct deposit, or prepaid debit card. We are always here to help, but we do not have information regarding the status of your stimulus payment.

Using the IRS status tool, you can find the following information:

  • Your payment status
  • Your payment type
  • If your information is up to date with the IRS

How do I know if I'm eligible for the stimulus check?

Arrowhead does not have this information. Your eligibility is determined by the government. To view eligibility and payment amounts, visit the IRS website.

How will I receive payment?

The IRS will issue payments by direct deposit, or by mailing a printed check or prepaid debit card..

If your 2018 or 2019 income tax return was direct deposited, your payment will be deposited into the same account. To update or request direct deposit, visit the IRS website.

You’ll receive a US Treasury Check or Prepaid Debit Card by mail if you did not file a tax return in 2018 or 2019 or have not given the IRS your direct deposit account information in the last two years.

What is the best way to deposit a paper stimulus check?

We highly recommend using mobile deposit in the Arrowhead app to deposit your paper check. You’ll endorse it and take pictures of it in the app and then keep the actual check for at least 7 business days until you see the deposit post to your account. At that time you can destroy the physical check.

Why haven't I received my stimulus check?

We are always here to help, but the only source of information on your payment status is the IRS website. The government began issuing payments in April, and will continue to do so for the next several months.

Can I be notified when my stimulus check has been deposited?

When you sign up for deposit alerts, you can receive an email alert within minutes of a deposit being posted to your Arrowhead account.

Get Deposit Alerts

  1. Log in to Online Banking
  2. Click "Alerts" in the red menu bar
  3. Select alert type "Any Deposit"
  4. Click "Submit" and you're all set!

Email alerts need to be set up in online banking, which can be accessed from a web browser.

How will I receive my prepaid debit card?

Your prepaid debit card will be mailed to you at the most recent mailing address filed with the IRS.

This card is not issued by Arrowhead or associated with your Arrowhead accounts.

How will I recognize the prepaid debit card?

If you receive a prepaid debit card, it will arrive in a plain envelope from “Money Network Cardholder Services”.

The Visa name is on the front of the card and the back of the card will say, MetaBank®, N.A. Additional information about your card will be included in the envelope.

What if my account information has changed?

If the account you previously used to receive your IRS tax refund has closed or changed and you are eligible for a payment, you will receive a paper check unless you have given the IRS your updated direct deposit information. Visit the IRS Website to update your information or for additional FAQs.

What if the IRS sends my payment to a closed Arrowhead account?

If we aren't able to deposit the payment into your account, we will attempt to contact you using the information we have on file. Please call us at (800) 743-7228 to confirm we have your current information.

What if my account is negative at the time my stimulus check is deposited?

Our priority is for members who receive a stimulus payment to have access to their funds quickly and easily.

To make this possible, we will will deposit the full amount of your stimulus payment into your account and not use it to collect a negative balance that might be on your account at the time of deposit.

How do I protect myself from scams related to COVID-19?

Know that neither the IRS nor Arrowhead will ever call, text, email, or reach out to you on social media to ask for personal information like bank account information. Read more about COVID-19 Scams.
