Electronic Statement Disclosure and Agreement

This disclosure contains important information about our Electronic Statement product, also referred to as eStatements. Before providing your consent, please read and consider the following information. You should keep a copy of this disclosure for your records.

By agreeing to this disclosure you are consenting to receive your account statements in electronic form that we would normally provide to you in printed form. Your eStatements will contain the same content as the paper version supplied by the Credit Union which includes: account balances, transaction activity, electronic funds transfer information, year-to-date dividends and error notification procedures.

By accepting this disclosure you agree to provide Arrowhead Credit Union with a valid email address and you understand that the Credit Union will send an e-mail to the address you provide us advising you when the e-Statement is available for viewing. You are also accepting that the e-mail you receive will contain electronic links so that you may review in an electronic format; 1) disclosures we are required to provide to you under applicable Federal and State statues and 2) information normally included in your statement. The information may include, but is not limited to, Credit Union newsletters and/or statement stuffers, election ballots, privacy notices, and account change notices, which may contain important legal information that affects you.

Requesting a Paper Copy of a Statement
Requests for paper copies of a statement can be made by calling 1-800-743-7228. There may be a fee for statement copies. Please refer to the separate Fee Schedule. If you are enrolled in eStatements, you may print any current or past statement at any time through e-Branch Online Banking.

If you enroll for eStatements, we will send you an email message to the email address you provide, when your statement becomes available for viewing online. You can change the email address for the statement message at any time by accessing "Account Options/Change e-Mail" in the e-Branch Online Banking Service product.

Access to eStatements
Your eStatements are securely available online for at least a rolling 18-month period or you can print or save a copy for permanent retention. It is your responsibility to examine each e-Statement and report any irregularities or disputes to us within 60 days of email notification of statement availability. Should you fail to notify us within 60 days, we may have no liability for any irregularities. You acknowledge that anyone with online access to your account may access e-documents.

Our Liability
The Credit Union will not be responsible for any loss, damage or injury whether caused by the equipment, software and/or e-Statement service, nor shall we be responsible for any direct, indirect, special or consequential damages arising in any way out of the installation, use or maintenance of your equipment, software and/or e-Statement, except where the law requires a different standard. We do not make any warranties concerning the equipment, the software or any part thereof, including without limitations, any warranties for a particular purpose or warranties of merchantability. We also accept no responsibility for your email address or for anyone accessing your emails.
Our Right to Amend or Terminate
You understand that we reserve the right to change or amend the terms and conditions of this Agreement by delivering notice of changes or amendments to you by e-mail.  You must accept the new terms if you wish to continue to receive all the benefits of this Agreement. You further agree that we can terminate your eStatements access and revert to printed mailed statements for any reason at any time.

Canceling eStatements
You may opt-out of eStatements at any time by changing your preferences on the "Account Options/Statement Option" link within e-Branch Online Banking. If you Opt-Out of eStatements, we will resume delivery of your paper statements by U.S. Mail once we process your request. Please allow one statement cycle for the change to take place. This may cause a monthly maintenance fee to be charged to your account. Please refer to the separate Fee Schedule.

Hardware and Software Requirements
If you can access the e-Branch Online Banking Service, you should be able to access your eStatements. However, prior to enrolling for eStatements, you should verify that you have the following required hardware and software:
  • Internet Access
  • A computer and Internet browser that can support 128-bit encryption such as Internet Explorer Version 6.0 (or newer) or Mozilla Firefox 2.0 (or newer). You must also have the free Adobe Acrobat Reader (version 6.0 or newer) installed. You can download the free Adobe Acrobat Reader from Adobe’s Website (
  • Access to a printer or storage medium such as a hard drive so that you can download and/or print disclosures and/or statements for your records.
  • An email address which we will use to notify you when new statements are available.
We may revise hardware and software requirements, and if there is a material chance that the changes may impact your ability to access eStatements, we will notify you of these changes in advance and provide you an opportunity to change your method of receiving disclosures (e.g. change to paper format vs. an electronic format).

Email Address Changes
In order to provide eStatements, we must maintain current member email addresses at all times. It is your responsibility to provide us with your correct contact information, including your email address.

You should notify us of any changes to your e-mail or you can update your e-mail address through "Account Options/Change e-Mail" in the e-Branch Online Banking Service product or by contacting our Call Center at 800-743-7228.

If you have a “joint account” as defined in the Agreements and Disclosures for Share Accounts, your e-mail address may be changed using the procedure described above by any authorized party to your account. The Credit Union shall have no obligation or liability to any of the parties to a joint account if the e-mail address is changed using the procedure set forth above.

Proceed with Acceptance of eStatements
You agree to accept periodic account statements and associated newsletters and disclosures (as required by law and spelled out earlier in this agreement) in an electronic format. You also agree that you have the necessary equipment for accessing and viewing eStatements and you agree to notify us if you change your email address or if you no longer want to receive statements electronically.

If you decide not to enroll in eStatements you can enroll at a later time within the e-Branch Online Banking Service.
