When can I use Arrowhead branches?
You can use any Arrowhead branch that is convenient for you. Find a branch

Will the Ocean Crest team still be here?
Yes. The branch team will be here to serve you.

What happens to my accidental death and dismemberment insurance?
If you had a current policy as an Ocean Crest member, it automatically transferred to your Arrowhead membership.

Why merge with Arrowhead Credit Union?
The Ocean Crest team considered several credit unions. After spending time with each, they felt Arrowhead’s service culture and organizational values were the best fit. We also provide members with a full-service call center, mobile banking app, mobile deposit, and much more.

About My Membership

When will I receive my Arrowhead account information?
Your new Arrowhead account information was sent by mail in mid-November. If you have not received it, please call us at (800) 743-7228.

Do I need to pay a membership fee?
No, you're automatically an Arrowhead member and will not need to pay a membership fee.

Did the merger affect membership eligibility?
No. Eligibility for both credit unions is now combined. Anyone who was eligible for an Ocean Crest membership is now eligible for Arrowhead membership.

What happened to my Accidental Death and Dismemberment insurance?
If you had a current policy as an Ocean Crest member, it automatically transferred to your Arrowhead membership.

Will the Signal Hill branch stay open?
Yes, the branch will remain open
Mon – Fri: 9am to 5pm.

Which ATMs can I use?
You can continue accessing any of the CO-OP Network ATMs.
 

When can I use Arrowhead branches?

Online & Mobile Banking

Do I need a new username and password?
Yes, you will need to register for Online Banking, using the Register button on our homepage.

Where do I login to Online Banking?
You can login on our homepage.

How do I get the Mobile Banking app?
The Mobile Banking app is available for Apple devices in the App StoreSM and for Android devices in Google Play™.

You can download and being using it at anytime.

How do I enroll in eStatements?
You will be able to sign up for eStatements in Online Banking at the time that you set up your username and password.

How will I receive my November-end Ocean Crest Statement?
Your last Ocean Crest statement will be mailed as a paper statement (even if you’re signed up for eStatements at Ocean Crest) in early December.

Where can I see my transaction history?
Your past transactions and statements from Ocean Crest will not be available in Online Banking. If you need help obtaining these, please give us a call at (800) 743-7228.

Did my alerts convert?
No, we have many alerts you can choose from, you can set them up in Online Banking.

Will I be able to set up text alerts?
At this time, Arrowhead does not offer text alerts. If you’d like to receive email alerts, you can set them up in Online Banking.

Bill Pay & Transfers

How do I setup my online bill payments?
Any bills you had set up with Ocean Crest did not carry over. You will need to set up all bill payments in Arrowhead Online Banking.

We provided a list of your payees to help with the transition in your Member Guide, which was sent in mid-November.

How do I setup recurring transfers?
You will need to set up all transfers in Online Banking or call us at (800) 743-7228.

Did my bill payees convert?
No, you'll have to set up your bill payees in Online Banking. You were sent a letter in your Member Guide in mid-November, with all of the payees you currently have set up at Ocean Crest.

Did my outstanding bill pay checks clear my account?
All bill payments scheduled by November 25 with a payment date up to November 30 were paid. A
ny payment scheduled to be paid after that date will not be paid, and will need to be setup in Arrowhead’s Online Banking.

We sent 8 starter checks in your Member Guide in mid-November, which can be useful if you need to make sure a bill is paid the first few days in December.

If you need more starter checks, please give us a call at (800) 743-7228.

When will Bill Pay debit my Arrowhead account?   
Funds will be debited from your account at the time the payment is transmitted. Please note, funds must be available for the payment to go through.

Did my Pop Money transfer over?
No. Arrowhead does not offer Pop Money, but these payees are available to set up in Bill Pay. We recommend you set them up as bill payments.

Debit Cards

When will I receive my new Arrowhead cards?
Your debit card(s) were sent in early November. If you have not received it, please call us at (800) 743-7228.

When can I activate my card?
You can activate your card as soon as you receive it.

When will my Ocean Crest cards deactivate?
Your Ocean Crest debit cards were deactivated on November 30 at 4:00pm.  Your credit cards will deactivate on January 16 at 4:00pm.

Do I need to update automatic payments?
If your automatic payment was made using your checking or savings account number at Ocean Crest, it automatically transferred over.

If it was made using your debit card, we recommend you pay in advance for December.

Once your Arrowhead card is activated, you can set up your automatic payments with your new information.

How do I setup a PIN?
Call (866) 212-4333 to activate it and select your PIN.

What ATMs can I use?     
You can use all the same surcharge-free CO-OP ATMs you've always used, and any Arrowhead ATM.

Other ATMs outside of the CO-OP network, you can use, but may incur a fee.

What if my automatic payments occur on the first of the month?
If your automatic payment was made using your checking or savings account number at Ocean Crest, it automatically transferred over.

If it was made using your debit card at Ocean Crest, we recommend you pay in advance for December.

Once your card is activated, you can set up your automatic payments with your new information.

If you made your payments using Bill Pay at Ocean Crest, we recommend you set up your payments in advance or utilize another method for the month of December.

When can I enroll my in Apple Pay®, Google PayTM, or Samsung Pay®
Great news! You can start using the mobile wallet feature for your Arrowhead debit card on your Apple or Android device at anytime.

 

Credit Cards

When do I have to decide if I want to convert to an Arrowhead Visa®?
You can choose to accept or reject your new Arrowhead Visa by December 10. 

Will my existing balance be at my current rate or my new Arrowhead rate?
If you choose to accept the Arrowhead Visa, your existing balance will remain at your current interest rate. Any future purchases or transfers will be at our current variable rate.

What if I don't want to convert to an Arrowhead Visa?      
You can choose to reject the Arrowhead Visa until December 10.

If so, you will still be responsible for paying your Ocean Crest Visa balance as agreed, but after 4:00pm on January 16, 2019, no additional transactions will be permitted.

Your remaining card balance will continue to be managed under your existing terms.

When will my Ocean Crest cards deactivate?
Your credit card will deactivate on January 16 at 4:00pm.

Do I need to update automatic payments?
If it is made using your Ocean Crest credit card, we recommend you pay in advance for January.

Once your card is activated, you can set up your automatic payments with your new information.

What is the difference between the Arrowhead Visa and my current Visa?
The Arrowhead Visa offers a competitive variable rate. View our current rates.

If you have an Arrowhead Checking account, you can use your Visa as an overdraft source.

The Arrowhead Visa also offers no annual fee, no balance transfer fee, no cash advance fee, plus you'll get your FICO® score free, updated monthly on your statements.

Will my payment date change?
Your payment due date will be on the 15th of each month.

Can I use my Arrowhead Visa as overdraft from my checking? 
Yes, a great feature of the Arrowhead Visa is that you can use it as overdraft for your checking account.

Starting January 17, you can set this up in Online Banking or call us at (800) 743-7228.

When will I receive my Arrowhead Visa?      
All credit cards will be delivered to you by mail in January.

How do I make my Ocean Crest credit card payment after December 1, but before it becomes an Arrowhead Visa?
You can call us at (800) 743-7228 or visit a branch to make a payment.

Checking

Did my direct deposit automatically transfer over?
Yes, your direct deposit transferred over to your Arrowhead account. Any deposits you receive on or after December 1 will be deposited into your account the same day.

Will I receive new checks? If so, when?
Yes, 8 starter checks were sent in your Member Guide in mid-November. If you think you’ll need more, please call us at (800) 743-7228.

Will my Ocean Crest checks still work?
We recommend you use your Arrowhead checks after December 1. Once you start using your Arrowhead checks, you'll be able to see images of your cleared checks within online and mobile banking.

Is there a monthly fee for the Arrowhead Checking account?
Arrowhead Checking is free with eStatements. Enroll in eStatements by December 31 to waive the $5 monthly fee.

Did my routing number change?
Yes, your new routing number is 322282603.

How do I find my Arrowhead Checking account number?
It is printed on your Membership Card, which was sent in your Member Guide in mid-November. You can also access your checking account number when you sign up for Online Banking.

What if I want an dividend-earning checking account?
Call us at (800) 743-7228 and we can convert your Arrowhead Checking into a
Dividend Checking.

Will my checking overdraft from my savings?
Yes, all Arrowhead checking accounts are automatically set up to overdraft from your savings account*. If you would not like your accounts set up this way, please give us a call at (800) 743-7228.

*Applicable fees may occur.

Will my outstanding Ocean Crest checks still clear my account?
Yes, outstanding checks will withdraw from the available funds in your account. We recommend you use your Arrowhead checks after December 1.

Once you start using your Arrowhead checks, you'll be able to see images of your cleared checks within Online and Mobile Banking.

 

Savings

Is a savings account required?
No, if you had an existing savings at Ocean Crest, it was transferred over to Arrowhead. If you wish to close it, please let us know by calling us at (800) 743-7228.

Can I have direct deposit go to my Arrowhead Savings?
Yes, you can have funds direct deposited into your Arrowhead Savings account.

What are your savings rates?   
View our current savings rates here.

What is the minimum account balance requirement?
$5 is required to maintain your Arrowhead Savings account. Maintaining $300+ average balance or a $25 recurring monthly deposit can waive the $3 monthly fee.

How do I waive the monthly maintenance fee on my Arrowhead Savings?
With an average balance of $300+ or a $25 or more recurring monthly deposit. See our Fee Schedule for more information.

Please note we will waive the monthly maintenance fee of $3 until May 31, 2019. For members age 60 and up, we will automatically waive this monthly fee.

 

Loans

Is my due datethe same?
Yes, your due date stays the same, but your payment amount may be different. Please see communications sent in the mail mid-November for more information.

Is my interest rate on my loan be the same?
Yes, your interest rate stayed the same on your loans.

Did my loan term be the same?
Yes, your loan term remained the same.

How do I open a new loan?
You can call us at (800) 743-7228, visit a branch, or apply online.

Did my automatic payment carry over?
Any automatic payments from Ocean Crest transferred over, but if you have any payments set up coming from other institutions or Ocean Crest Bill Pay, they did not transfer over and you'll need to set them up again.

Will my loan payment continue to come from my payroll?
If you already had an automatic loan payment setup from your payroll this should have automatically transferred over. We recommend keeping a close eye on your account during the first month or so to make sure everything is transferring as you expect it to. Please reach out to us immediately if your payroll is not distributed as you expect.

How do I make my loan payment to Arrowhead?
In a branch, in Online Banking from any of your Arrowhead accounts, or call us at (800) 743-7228.

Will I get loan coupons?
No, we do not provide loan coupons. Payment information will be provided in your statements. If you need help setting up payments, give us a call at (800) 743-7228.

Will I receive updated DMV registration for my auto loan?
Yes, you will receive a new registration card from the DMV showing Arrowhead Credit Union as your lien holder. This will happen automatically, you won’t need to do anything differently.

IRA/Certificates

Did my maturity date and dividend rate change?
No, they both remained the same.                   

How will this affect my 2018 tax forms?
Your 2018 tax form will come from Arrowhead, and will include information from your Ocean Crest accounts.
