Your auto loan agreement requires you to maintain comprehensive and collision insurance on the vehicle with Arrowhead Credit Union named as the loss payee and with certain maximum deductible amounts allowed until the loan is paid in full. Arrowhead Credit Union works with SWBC to verify insurance coverage and send insurance verification notices on our behalf.
If we're unable to verify your insurance coverage, you may receive a notice requesting proof of insurance. If proof of coverage isn't received by the deadline indicated in the notice, Collateral Protection Insurance (CPI) may be added to your loan to protect the Credit Union’s interest in the vehicle securing the loan. However, CPI does not include liability insurance and will not satisfy any state financial responsibility or no-fault laws.
If you have active comprehensive and collision insurance coverage on the vehicle, please submit proof of insurance through the Insurance Verification Portal or by following the instructions provided in your notice. If you have questions, you may also call (833) 713-7602.
